Henry "Peach" Nagel, 80, of Godfrey, passed away peacefully at his home, at 5:47 am on Monday, October 16, 2023.

He was born on May 5, 1943, in Alton, IL to the late Fred and Agnes (Kramer) Nagel. Henry married Sharon Baker in 1964 and together they had three children, Mike, Shannon, and Jason. Henry later married Victoria (Burtis) Beckwith on June 13, 1986 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives.

He attended Roxana High School and graduated in 1961. Henry worked as a Grinder Machinist for Olin and retired after 41 years. Henry and his wife Victoria loved to travel all over, but Key West was a favorite vacation spot. They also spent a lot of time on their pontoon boat, cruising the river. He was a member of the Wood River Moose. Henry was a fan of Indy car and NASCAR racing. He watched and went to many, many races over the years. Henry was passionate about cars, especially classic ones. He could always be found watching Price is Right or the Dallas Cowboy game on TV.
