Henry “Hank” Joseph Boss Jr

Henry “Hank” Joseph Boss Jr., 71, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Gassville, AR.  Born May 6, 1945 in Alton he was the son of Harry and Mildred (Schneider) Boss.  Mr. Boss served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a machinist for Owens Illinois for 19 years and retired as an operator for Shell Refinery after 20 years of service.  He was a member of the Sons of American Revolution.  Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer Cruthis (Brett) of Oakland, AR, a son, Dane Boss (Dawn) of Huntsville, AL, three grandchildren, Hanlynn and Chase Cruthis and Tristan Boss, and a sister, Connie Mullen (Michael) of Salem, IL.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Father Godfrey Mullen will officiate.  Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
