Henry Arthur Thomure, 88 passed away at 6:33 pm Saturday September 16, 2017 at Missouri Veterans Home in St. Louis, MO
He was born on August 22, 1929 in Alton, IL the son of late Henry & Katherine (Wagemann) Thomure.
Henry served in the US Army and then worked for General Motors in the shipping department. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and gardening
He is survived by several cousins.
Visitation will be from 9 am until time of funeral at 11 am Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home or Heartland Hospice.
