Helen Steckel, 86, of Jerseyville, died at 4:05 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home.Surviving are:7 Children:     1.)  Barbara Sick of Little Rock, Arkansas                      2.)  Denny Steckel of Jerseyville                      3.) Patricia Jedlicka of Jerseyville                      4.)  Mary Smith of Jerseyville                      5.)  Joseph Steckel of Jerseyville                      6.)  Henry Steckel of Jerseyville                      7.)  Catherine Pooch of St. John, Indiana23 Grandchildren     25 Great Grandchildren, with three on the way.1 Sister:           Loretta Dolan of Saint Louis, MissouriVisitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville.
Burial will take place in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic Schools in Jerseyville or to Masses.
