Helen Rose Frazer, 91, passed away at 2:38 am on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Jerseyville Manor. She was born January 4, 1926 in Michael, IL. to Frank and Marie (Wittman) Klunk. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of

River Valley Weavers Guild, Women of the Elks and Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville, also the Altar Society. She retired from Jersey Community Hospital after 30 years of service. She was a great basket maker, wining many ribbons at County fairs. She enjoyed candy making, especially her divinity and fudge. She belonged to Jersey County Grand Squares. She married George Frazer on July 24, 1945 and they later divorced. Surviving are 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Georgia & Tim Worley of Jerseyville and Judy & Sam Rowling of Grafton, grandchildren: Jared (fiancé Krista Garner), Brandon (partner Shelby Booth), Krista (partner Aaron Sandifer), Sara and John, great grandchildren: Nila, Jonah, Kila, Kase & Jocelyn,  sister-in-law: Margaret Klunk of Godfrey and many relatives and friends. Preceding her death were her parents, 3 brothers: Walter, George, and Donald Klunk and 3 sisters: Edna Brakeville, Clara Davison and Mildred Porter. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville. Funeral Mass at 4:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Father Patrick Gibbons.Burial will be at Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton. Memorials may be made to Holy Ghost All Purpose Building Fund or Catholic Charities.
