Helen Irene Voss, 91, died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Bethalto Care Center.
Born in Casner, IL on May 30, 1925, the daughter of Emmett Lloyd and Lula (Sefton) Sturgeon.
She had worked in the ammunition division of the Olin Corporation before retiring; and had been a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Her parents and a brother, Clifton Sturgeon preceded in death.
Graveside Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24 at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
