Hazel Virginia Wilson Cannedy, 87, passed away 10:05 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Park Place Senior Living in O'Fallon.
Born in Roxana on February 25, 1931, she was the daughter of William and Rovella "Ella" (Traxler) Wilson.
She enjoyed traveling and being a "grandma".
She married Jack Cannedy on August 25, 1952. He survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Jeffrey (Wenda) Cannedy of O'Fallon, MO, Gregory D. Cannedy of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Britni Tharp and Trevor Cannedy; and great grandchildren, Ethan and Lila Tharp.
Visitation will be from 9 am until time of service at 11 am, Saturday, February 9 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Richard Newcom will officiate.
Burial will follow in Upper Alton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been requested for the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation.
