Harry LeRoy Mobley, Jr., 68, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
He was born on May 6, 1957 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Harry Mobley, Sr. and Katherine (Lee) Mobley. Harry was a self-employed handyman, well known and loved in the Alton community.
He is survived by his mother; his spouse, Laura Ballard; his three sons, Jason, Mark (Jennifer), and Michael (Alyssa); his daughter, Doris Coleman; seven grandchildren, Olivia, Kaiden, Rowan, Melina, Liam, Layla, and Liliana; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Kellan; his brother, Gary; and two sisters, Kathy Lynn (sons Shane and Jonah) and Leslie (Jason) Kinder.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Terry.
Gent Funeral Home is overseeing his arrangements. There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
