Harry H. Marshall, 89, died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, MO. Born July 13, 1923 in Higbee, MO, he was the son of Claude and Edna (Gail) Marshall. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Holy Infant Catholic Church in Ballwin, MO. He retired in 1990 as Directing Attorney for the Illinois Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation. On October 8, 1974 in Edwardsville, he married the former Tarrie Davis. She survives. Also surviving are four children, Kypris Drake of San Diego, CA, Mary Kalina of St. Peters, MO, Carol Tatro (Geoff) of Jacksonville, FL, and Thomas Marshall (Julie) of Ballwin, MO, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dan Marshall, and two sisters, Lucy Rose Marshall and Marie Wood. A memorial visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey. Father Steve Pohlman will officiate. Burial will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose School. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
