Harold Daubman

Harold L. Daubman, 79, passed away at 5:42 pm on July 21, 2020 at Riverside Rehab & Healthcare in Alton.

He was born on December 23, 1940 in Alton, Illinois the son of John & Lilly (McCane) Daubman.

Harold married Geraldean Cherry on January 12, 1963 in Alton. She survives.

He worked as a Laborer for Local 218 and was a member of the Alton Eagles Club Lodge 254. Harold loved being with all of his family. He enjoyed Dairy Queen blizzards, playing pool, and testing his luck at the slot machines.

In addition to his wife, Geraldean, he is also survived by two sons, Ricky Lee (Angela) Daubman of Sheboygan, WI and Carl Wayne (Bobbie) Daubman of Alton, IL; one daughter, Tammy (Donnie) Rushing of Roxanna, IL; 9 grandchildren, Kyle (Christine) Olli, Tessa Olli, Michael Lair, Jessie Padgett, Alicia Padgett, Johnathan (Bailey) Wyatt, Jacob (Nichole) Wyatt, Dylan Rushing, Eddibeth Rushing ; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother, George (Jenny) Daubman Sr. of Alton, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a one sister, Juanita Daubman; and a brother, Charles Daubman.

Due to the current State of Illinois restrictions on social distancing the visitation is limited to 50 people or less at a time inside the funeral home. The visitation will be held from 11:00am to until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf, Alton, with Rev. George Daubman officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
