Hannah Neiworth

Hannah Neiworth, 87, passed away September 9, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born January 9, 1938 in Edinburgh, Scotland, she was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine (Hands) Ford.

In June of 1960 in Edinburgh, she married Donald Neiworth. He died April 19, 1993.

Surviving are a son, Don (Karen) Neiworth of Wood River; five grandchildren, Tyler (Samantha) Neiworth, Zachary Neiworth, Blake (Holly) Neiworth, Drew Neiworth, and Kylie Neiworth; and two great grandchildren, Henry and Otto Neiworth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers, Frank, Peter, Stewart, Thomas, Terry, and Phillip Ford; and two sisters, Mary Ford and Catherine Ford.

Private services were conducted with Deacon Jim Schwartzkopf officiating.

Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lebanon.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River was entrusted with arrangements.
