Gregory S. Kempinski, 73, died Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born January 16, 1949, in Chicago, he was the son of Chester and Marianne (Nickols) Kempinski.

He was a self-employed, ASA Certified Mechanic.

Surviving are sons, Aaron Kemp (Kelly), Bryan Kempinski, and Kevin Kempinski; daughters, Shannon Passero (Tony), and Courtney Peridore (Linsy Jr), 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
