Gloria Weier

Gloria Weier, nee Louis, 83, of Belleville, IL, born December 12, 1941, in Belleville, IL, died Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Gloria worked as an office assistant and the church secretary at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, loved reading, going to Bingo, and playing Solitaire on her phone.

Gloria was an amazing baker and cook, she loved sharing her creations with everyone. She loved caring for dogs, cats, and birds when she had them. Above all, Gloria’s favorite past time was spending quality time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Marie Weier; her parents, Elmer and Aurelia, nee Knab, Louis; a sister, Shirley (Charles) Curle; and a brother, Robert Louis.

Surviving are her four children, Raymond M. Weier, James A. Weier, Joyce M. Bennett (Anthony L. Allen), and Ronald P. Weier (Angie Ryder); four grandchildren, James (Destiny) Myers, Dylan Weier, Devin Weier, and Ryder Weier; and her great-grandson, Noah Myers.

Private graveside services will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
