Gloria Acuncius

Gloria Alice Acuncius, 94, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Community Memorial Hospital, Staunton, IL on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 7:25 am.  She was born April 30, 1929, in Bethalto, IL to Lennis Gray & Alvita Brummer Gray.  She married Roger Acuncius on July 9, 1948 in Edwardsville, IL.  He preceded her in death on September 15, 2008.  She was retired after having been an assistant manager for Fidelity Federal.  Gloria was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bunker Hill.  She was a former member of the Bunker Hill Cemetery Board and Library Board.  She is survived by her children, Rick (spouse, Sheila) Acuncius of Maryville, IL, Lori (spouse, Michael) Bostick of Bunker Hill, IL, grandchildren, Kyle (spouse, Rachel Linh) Acuncius of Hanoi, Vietnam, Keith Acuncius of Colorado Springs, CO, Graham (spouse, Stephanie) Bostick of Bunker Hill, IL, Kaitlin (spouse, Zak Krug) Bostick of Springfield, IL, great-grandchildren, Graiden Bostick, Addie Bostick, Crosby Krug, Ethan Lam Acuncius, and Evan Minh Acuncius.  Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, siblings, Robert Gray and Billy Gray.  Friends may call on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.  Funeral services are Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL.  Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.  Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church of Bunker Hill.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
