Glenn A. Hachman, 82, passed away 12:20 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Roxana on July 14, 1934, he was the son of Glenn P. Hachman and Esther (Jung) Hachman House.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was employed as a Pipe Shop Foreman for the Shell Oil Company for 33 years before retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed wood working.
On June 8, 1956 in Wood River, he married Dorothy "Dotty" Westerhold. She survives.
Surviving also are sister-in-law, Marie Kladar; brother-in-law, Ray Westerhold; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were his parents; and step-father, Merle House.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1327 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, and continue from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor Martin Schultz will officiate.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church of the University of Missouri Athletic Scholarship Fund.
