Glenda Lowe

Glenda S. Lowe, age 73 of Alton, IL passed away peacefully on, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born September 20, 1942 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Alvin W. and Grace M. (Henry) Dalton.Glenda married Bobby D. Lowe in Hammond, IN on November 17, 1961, he survives.Glenda enjoyed bowling and cooking and spending time with her friends and family.She is survived by her husband Bobby; three children and their spouses; Susan and Verle Trusty of Alton, Ricky Lowe of Fosterburg and Tammy Awwad of Alton, five siblings and their spouses, Pansy Hosfelt of Alton, Flora “Mickie” McGee of Fosterburg, August “Sonny” Dalton of Fosterburg, Gary and Jackie Dalton of Brighton and Wanda and Chris Amizich of Fosterburg, and three grandchildren; Daniell Trusty, Morgan Sweet and Amira Awwad and several nieces and nephews. .Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and one sister; Betty Gaffney.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in AltonService will be at 10 am on Saturday, February 13. 2016 at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Keller officiating.Burial will be at the Upper Alton Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to the East Alton Assembly of God Church or BJC Hospice.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com or www.facebook.com/eliaskallalandschaaf.com
