Georgia Trout

Georgia Jane Trout, 88, died at 1:33 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born October 5, 1928 in Alton the daughter of George and Hazel (May) Weigler. She was a Upholsterer and owned and operated All Type Upholstery for over 50 years. She volunteered for the Godfrey Khoury League. On June 5, 1948 in Alton she married Ronald William Trout and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2009. Surviving are one daughter; Victoria Rathgeb (Timothy) of Alton and one son Patrick Trout (Kimberly) of Godfrey, three grandchildren; Craig Rathgeb (Susan), Sarah Jones (Ronnie) and Holly Wegener, six great grandchildren; Evan and Grace Rathgeb, Spencer and Myles Marfell, Victoria and Nyah Jones and Jordan Jones and one sister-in-law; Ann Weigler of St. George, Utah and one son-in-law; Bill Wegener of Columbia, MO. She was preceded in death by one daughter; Beverly Wegener and one brother; Joseph Weigler. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton with Pastor Steve Friese Officiating.
