George Maher

George William Maher, 87, of Godfrey, died at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Rosewood Care Center in Alton.

Surviving are:

His Wife:        Bette Maher of Godfrey

Two Daughters:  Mindy Bobledyk of Wyoming, Michigan

                           Sara Short of Edwardsville

A Son:                Michael Maher of Edwardsville

8 Grandchildren      10 Great Grandchildren

A Sister:  Gloria Yirka of Sun City, Az.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until time of funeral services at 12 noon at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, with the Jerseyville American Legion Post 492 conducting military graveside rites.

Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to the Alzheimers Association.
