George H. Dresch, 93, of Springfield, IL, passed away on July 31, 2026 at Cedarhurst of Springfield, IL. He was born in Springfield, IL on November 4, 1932, one of six children born to Frank and Loretta & Bea Dresch. He married Marilyn Jean Frew on October 5, 1957 at St. Joseph's Church in Benld, IL. They had four daughters: Jennifer, Jeannine, Janet and Jodene, and 13 grandchildren. Marilyn passed away on March 2, 2010.
On October 14, 2011, George married Dolores (nee Santini) Scott at Christ the King Church in Springfield. She survives him.
Visitation will be at 9:30 am until 1030 am on Monday, August 10, 2026 at St. Joseph's Church in Benld and Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld, IL.
