George Boud

George Joseph Boud, Jr., 79, passed away November 30, 2023 at his residence.
Born May 7, 1944 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of George J., Sr. and Mary (Vanderhoff) Boud.
A U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, he had been a maintenance supervisor for Chemetco for over 30 years before retiring.
On May 5, 1973 in Cottage Hills, he married Cindy L. Durham. She survives.
Surviving in addition are a son, Shawn Boud of Granite City; three daughters, Melissa Hyden of Wood River, Georgiana Milford of Bethalto, Jessica (Kenny) Heaton of East Alton; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Michael Boud.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
