Gary Bruce Hazen, 65, passed away 11:27 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Alton on December 25, 1949, he was the son of Leroy Vincent and Mildred Esther (Unterbrink) Hazen.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a registered nurse, having worked for Gateway Regional, St. Anthony's and St. Elizabeth's Hospitals before retiring.
He is survived by sister-in-law, Charla Hazen; nieces and nephew; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
