Franklin Easter

Franklin “Bud” Nelson Easter passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.  Franklin was born in Madison County, Illinois on January 15, 1937

He retired as a tank cleaner for National Marine in Hartford. Franklin was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.He married Mary (Silkwood) Easter, she preceded him in death. He is survived by his children Allen (fiancée Nancy Parker) Easter of East Alton, Barb (Acie) Williams of Alton and Mark Easter of Wood River; brothers, Russel Easter; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Davenport, a son Nelson Silkwood; brothers Dave Easter, Ed Easter; sisters, Sherry Easter, Eona Vasquez, Freida Kizer.Franklin has chosen cremation rites which have been accorded.A visitation will be held at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 10 until time of service at 11 Pastor Charles West will officiate.
