Frank D. Rich, 81, passed away at 8:15pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 2, 1935, in East Alton, the son of the late Everett and Maxine (McKinney) Rich. He married the former Joan Freer on January 31, 1966, in Gillespie, and she survives. Other survivors include a step – son: William Revis of Brighton, three sisters and two brothers in law: Gerry and Dale Thompson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Janet Sue and Terry Primas of Duke, Missouri, Doris Stone of Alton, a brother and sister in law: David Joe and Linda Rich of Dorsey, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Frank was formerly employed as an adjuster at Olin in the plastics department. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Shirley Wiemers and one brother: R.B. Rich.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
