Frank Crawford

Frank Allison Crawford, 79, died at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his residence.  He was born February 17, 1938 in St. Charles, MO the son of the late George and Anna (Marino) Crawford.  He was the maintenance supervisor at William M.  BeDell Achievement and Resource Center. Frank was a member of the Alton Moose Lodge 951, the Alton-Wood River Sportsmen’s Club and he gave a lot of people joy with his laughter.   On October 25, 1958 in St. Charles, MO he married Marlin (Weisner) and she preceded him in death on September 4, 2008.  Surviving are three daughters, Diana Crawford of Alton, Karen Crawford of Alton and Mary Baggett (Darren) of Bethalto and two sons, Danny Crawford of Alton and Joe Crawford (Maggie) of Roxana, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two brothers, John Crawford of Florissant, MO and Bill Crawford of St. Charles, MO.  Besides his wife he is preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, Frankie and Kathy Crawford, one granddaughter, Becky Sutton, and two brothers, George and Joe Crawford.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 with Pastor Tony Morris Officiating.   Burial will be at Alton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the William M.
