Frances “Fran” O. Eichorn, 91, died at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, MO. Born June 24, 1923 in Alton, she was the daughter of Patrick and Eva (Douglas) Hendy. She was a homemaker and a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. On June 8, 1942 she married Joseph F. Eichorn. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2002. Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Eichorn of Ballwin, MO, a grandson, Christopher Joseph Eichorn of Van Nuys, CA, and a sister, Veronica Horn of Kansas City, MO. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Patrick Eichorn and a sister, Rosemary Jacobson. Private family services will be held at Gent Funeral Home in Alton with Monsignor Kenneth Steffen officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.
