Forest (Frosty) Rowe, 89, of Mount Olive, IL, died at his residence on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 9:48 am.
He was born April 5, 1936, in Bucyrus, OH to the late Vernon Rowe & June Sherman Rowe. He married Nancy Stauffer and they later divorced. He was also married to the late Velma Rowe and Inda Rowe.
Forest graduated in 1954 in Ohio. He was previously employed as a truck driver for Georgia Pacific where he later retired. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, camping and watching football.
He is survived by sons, Charles Stauffer of Bucyrus, OH, David (Karen) Stauffer of Bucyrus, OH, Larry (Vicki) Rowe of Mt. Olive, IL, step daughters, Sandra Crossno of Mt Olive, IL, Patti Johnson of Granite City, IL, Cheryl Nimmons of Havana, IL, step son, Charles (Pam) James of Havana, IL, He had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Velma Rowe, Inda Rowe, step son, Winford James, step daughter, Belinda Dever and step granddaughter, Annie Johnson.
