Flora Clark

Flora L. "Flo" Clark, 96 Years, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on January 5, 2023, at 5:34 am.  She was born November 5, 1926, in Mt. Vernon, IN to Elmer Green & Esther Bradley Green.  She married Donald R. Clark on May 24, 1947, in Gillespie, IL.  He preceded her in death on February 13, 2012.  She was a homemaker.  Flora was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and United Methodist K Group where she was also a communion steward for 37 years and she was also in charge of getting acolytes for services.  She was a member of Tops.  She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and square dancing with Calico Twirlers and Kuntry Kuzins.  She is survived by her children, Donald (Paula) Clark Jr. of Staunton, IL, Elaine (Mike) Hailstone of Gillespie, IL, Patty Tiburzi of Sawyerville, IL, grandchildren, Amy (Paul) Hailstone, Chris (Jenny) Hailstone, Stephanie (Jeff) White, Craig (Michelle) Tiburzi, Tara (Chad) Blankenship, Whitney (Brad) Curtis, Jaime (Kyle) Montgomery, bonus granddaughter, Heather, great-grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, Sophia, Madilyn, Ayden, Izabella, Aria, Owen, Griffin, Natali, Landon.  Flora was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, granddaughter, Randi Clark, son-in-law, Jim Tiburzi, sisters, Blanche, Hazel, and brothers, Lloyd, and Bob.  Friends may call on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Funeral services are Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie.  Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Partnership For Educational Excellence District #7 or the United Methodist Church of Gillespie, IL.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
