Faye Farmer

Faye A. Farmer, 95, died at 11:58 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center.  Born July 15, 1922 in Aurora, IL, she was the daughter of Clarence and Fern (Collier) Good.  Mrs. Farmer was a self-employed beautician, a waitress at the Stratford Hotel, and worked in housekeeping at the Ramada Inn.  Surviving are two daughters, Dixie Dewey (Floyd) of Paw Paw, IL, and Linda Bremhorst (Jim) of Springfield, IL, two sons, Tim Farmer of Godfrey and Chris Farmer (Jerri Lyn) of Godfrey.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Kim Hoxsey, Debbie Hennessee, Kelly Challand, David Farmer, Jennifer Farmer, Olivia Farmer, Katherine Bremhorst Dodge, Peter Bremhorst, and Mel Bremhorst as well as numerous great grandchildren.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vince Farmer and two brothers, Collier and Bud Good.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.  Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Naperville Cemetery in Naperville, IL.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
