Evelyn "Evie" E. Andoe, 76, passed away at 12:40 AM on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on August 21, 1948, in Alton, IL, to Bobbie and Sara Evelyn Angelin (Miller) Hill.
Evie married Emil T. Andoe on June 15, 1969, in Alton, IL.
Evie worked as a Dietary Cook for Christian Northeast. She was a member of Heartland Baptist Church. Evie was the glue of the family. She was known for her hard work and unwavering love for her family. She never missed her children's or grandchildren's sporting and extra curricular events. She enjoyed football and going to high school games. She was a avid St. Louis Cardinals, and Kansas City Chiefs. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, she was selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Evie is survived by her loving husband, Emil Andoe; son, Tim (Kara) Andoe of East Alton, IL; daughter, Laura (Robert Morrill) Mugge of East Alton, IL; grandchildren, Brady Morrill, Maya Mugge, and Nicolas Mugge of East Alton, IL; sister, Dianna (Larry) Ghere of Brighton, IL; niece, Jessica (Chris) Herring of Jerseyville, IL; great-niece, Abbigal Herring; and great-nephew, Dean Herring.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home, Godfrey, Illinois. Pastor will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey, IL.
Memorials are suggested to the Heartland Baptist Church.
