Esther Agnes Janet (Warner) Newingham, 84, formerly of Wood River, passed away May 12, 2015 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX.
Born in Wood River on August 12, 1930, she wqas the daughter of Fred H. Warner and Thelma Evline (McMonigle) Burgess.
She married Lyman Lee "Joe Pat" Newingham. He died June 24, 2010.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan (Frank) Weiker; sons, David Newingham, Michael (Elizabeth) Newingham, Patrick (Jennifer) Newingham; grandchildren, Stephen Newingham, Sincup Weiker, Joe Weiker, Jessica Cibene, Mitchell Newingham, Christopher Newingham, Tiffany Waneck, Christina Yokubaitis, Thomas Cowan, Lindsey Newingham; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita (Albert) Manring, sister-in-law, Carol 'Mickie" (Fred) Bartlett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were her parents; husband; mother-in-law, Helen Rogers
Visitation will be at the Hartford Assembly of God Church Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Rev, David Fields will officiate.
Burial will follow in Upper Alton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the United Service Organization (USO).
