Elliana Barker

We are devastated to announce our daughter Elliana (Elly) Ophelia Marie Barker, age 6, went home to the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, September 21, 2026.

There will be a graveside service for Elliana 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Mulberry Grove City Cemetery, Mulberry Grove, Illinois. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Donnell–Wiegand Funeral Home.

Elliana is the daughter of DeAnna Barker (Phipps) and David Barker.

She was born January 2, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN.

Elliana was such a bright light to those who knew her. She was a generous spirit who touched countless lives. Elly went through a lot in her short life but never let that damper her smile. She was so loving and strong, and she had a sense of humor that made you smile. She also had a side of sass for anything she didn't approve of.

Elly loved to spend time with her family and play with her younger brothers Eli and Enoch. She liked watching Octonauts and musical movies such as Moana and Frozen.

Even though Elliana was taken from us much too soon, she was able to teach us so much in such a short amount of time, namely to try to smile through whatever life throws your way.

Elly's memory will always be cherished by her parents DeAnna and David, her brothers Elijah and Enoch, and her grandparents Mary and Matthew Phipps.

We will never forget you Elly, and will always love you. We know that you are safe, whole, and dancing in heaven today, and that we will see you again one day sweet girl.
