Ellen Naujokas

Ellen B. Naujokas, 64, died at 12:40 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016 at her home in Alton.  Born June 17, 1952 in Alton, she was the daughter of Woodrow W. and Virginia (Gannon) Besterfeldt.  She married the love of her life Tom Naujokas June 20, 1981.  He preceded her in death on February 26, 2009.  Surviving are brother, Gordon (Juanita) Besterfeldt of Florida and Keith (Shelly) Besterfeldt of Texas, a sister-in-law, Irene Dennis of California their families.  She also leaves behind her best friend, her dog, Boo Radley.  Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerome Besterfeldt.  Per her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
