Elizabeth A. “Beth” Berger, passed away at 11:25 am Monday December 19, 2016 at
St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born on July 1, 1951 in Alton, IL the daughter of The Late Walson H “Wally” & Eleanor M. (Zoeller) Berger.
She retired as an account manager for Adecco Temporary Staffing in St. Louis.
She lived and breathed sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and St. Louis Blues hockey fan and was a member and past president of the Blueliners fan club.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Mary Berger of Godfrey; two nephews, Phillip Berger of St. Louis and Patrick Berger of Godfrey; and a long time friend, Lynda Hertel of St. Louis and other extended family and friends.
.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday December 22, 2016 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday December 23, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton with Fr. John Luong OMV as the celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church or The Oblates of the Virgin Mary or Blues for Kids.
