Elden Wooldridge

Elden Wooldridge, cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on June 16, 2026. Elden, with his gentle heart and wise soul, touched many lives with kindness and warmth. He found joy in playing football and exploring the imaginative worlds of video games. A curious learner, Elden was passionate about understanding the evolution of societies and their people.

Throughout his life, he lived in various places, from Ft Worth, TX, and Ramstein AFB, Germany, to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Grand Forks, ND, O'Fallon, IL, Columbus, OH, and ultimately settled in Cheyenne, WY. His belief in the inherent good of others led him to treat everyone with compassion and respect.

Elden is survived by his loving parents, Sabra Wooldridge (née Schmidt) and Merritt "Butch" Wooldridge, his stepmother Pamela Wooldridge, brothers Ethan (with wife Mila) and Eddy Wooldridge, nephews Dexter and Linus, grandmother Dorthy Schmidt, and a close-knit extended family, including Aunt Kira Wauwie and Uncle Majdy Wauwie, Aunt Angel West, Uncle Aaron Schmidt, cousins Kyle and Madison Schmidt, former spouse Cherie Wooldridge, as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, grandmothers, and an aunt.

In honor of Elden's generous spirit, donations to a charity of your choice or planting a tree in his memory would be greatly appreciated. Elden's legacy of love and understanding will continue to inspire all who knew him.
