EDWARD DUNSINGJERSEYVILLE- Edward Lee "Bosco" Dunsing, 75, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo.He was born in Grafton on May 20, 1940, one of four children born to the late Everett & Mabel E. (Reno) Dunsing.He attended Jerseyville schools, and was employed at Laclede Steel Company as a furnace operator in the Rod Mill for 32 years before his retirement.He enjoyed country music and loved to travel, which made Branson, Mo., his favorite destination. He also loved football and baseball, but his family always came first, and enjoyed the time spent with each and every one of them.He married the former Naomi Wilkinson on March 28, 1960 in Jerseyville, and they have enjoyed their 55 years together and the blessing of two daughters.Surviving are his wife, Naomi Dunsing of Jerseyville; two daughters & sons in law, Lena & Brian Cummings of Jerseyville, and Patty & Kent Dunham of Kane; four grandchildren & their spouses, Chris & Ali Speich of Alexandria, Va., Brian "Pokey" and Christa Dunsing of Jerseyville, Jenna Speich of Michael, and Kendra & Phillip Young of Kane; three great grandchildren, Peyton & Carter Young, and Brynn Dunsing, and one due in January; a sister & brother in law, Shirley & George Scott of Jerseyville; a brother & sister in law, Richard & Una Dunsing of Jerseyville; as well as members of the Wilkinson family whom he considered to be a very special part of his life.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar "Butch" Dunsing; and his father in law & mother in law, Elmer & Carrie Wilkinson.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday. His brother in law, Rev. Paul Lynn will conduct services.He will be laid to rest in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to his family in care of the funeral home.
