Edward F. Affsprung, Jr., 78, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his residence.
He was born April 5, 1936 in Olmstead, IL.
On January 28, 1961, he married the former Laura Frayser. She survives.
Surviving also are a daughter, Beth (Dan) Hitchell of New Albany, OH; four grandchildren, Jessica Affsprung, Jason Riss, Veronica Affsprung, Sydney Hitchell; and a sister, Mary Webb of East Alton.
His parents; and a son, Mark Affspruung preceded in death.
In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated. Interment will be in Grand Chain Cemetery in Grand Chain, IL.
