Edna Cecelia Roth, 92, of Michael, Il died Thursday, October 27, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born April 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Smith) Haselhorst.
She married William Roth on August 21, 1954 and he preceded her in death May 23, 2008.Surviving are one son, Paul (Angie) Roth of Hardin, four daughters, Carolyn Ballard of Winfield, MO, Mary (Rick) Hall of East Alton, Diane (John) Baltisberger of Hardin, and Laura (Alan) Bailey of Hardin; 13 grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Palank, Stacey (Aaron) Elmore, Joe (Kelsey) Roth, Molly (Patrick) Elhoffer, Josh (Kim) Bailey, Jamie (Jesse) Bailey, Eric (Jen) Baltisberger, Emily (Chad) Kallal, Andrew Bailey, and Jessica (Chris Bick; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Curtis, Paul, and Lester Haselhorst, and one son-in-law, Jim Ballard.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Gress, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church in Michael, IL.
Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Michael.
