Edna Stamm

Edna E. Stamm, died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton. Born November, 14, 1929 in East Alton, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Ura and Hulda (Zoelzer) Mehrer. Mrs. Stamm retired from Beverly Farms as a nurses Aid. On July 2, 1950 she married Fred Stamm Sr. in Alton, and he preceded her in death in 2009. Surviving are 2 children; a son Fred Stamm Jr. (Kelly Bock-Stamm) of Lufkin, TX and a daughter Kathy Kirk (David) of Godfrey and a sister Elba Sharp of Alton. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by 4 sisters. Funeral and burial are all private. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
