Dr. Joseph F. Paone, 65, passed away at 6:18 pm, Monday, January 14, 2013 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Chicago, IL on December 5, 1947 the son of the late Francis X. and Arlene (Bailey) Paone.
On July 24, 1971 he married Catherine M. Gustafson in St. Louis, MO.
He was a Surgeon for thirty-two years.
He is survived by his wife Cathy of Godfrey; one son, Michael Paone of St. Louis, MO; one daughter, Anne (Andrew) Scribner of Evanston, IL; one granddaughter, Bailey Scribner; two brothers, Dr. Douglas (Dee) Paone of Naples, FL and William (Robin) Paone of Webster Groves, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
