Dorothy Mosby

Dorothy Mae Mosby, 76, passed away at 7:48 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Health Center.She was born on December 29, 1940 the daughter of the late Russell W. and Darlene J. (Blackmore) Richey.  She married Robert H. Mosby on July 15, 1961 in Hardin, IL. He preceded her in death in 1987.Dorothy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Godfrey.She is survived by her second husband Steve Bock of Brighton; two daughters, Tammy (James) Mosby of Edwardsville and Susan (Brian) Kennedy of Jerseyville; a son, Robert R. (Mary) Mosby of Godfrey; five grandchildren Megan, Kelly, Brittney, Josh, and Samantha; a great grandson Kayden.Visitation will be held on Saturday September 23, 2017 from 8:30 am until the time of funeral service at 10:30 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials can be made to The American Heart Association or Susan G.
