Dorothy M. Thompson, 78, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Integrity Healthcare of Alton.
Born Jan. 2, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, she was a daughter of Leroy Robert and Lorraine (Bailey) Thompson.
Survivors include a sister, Norma McCane of Alton; a brother, Robert L. Thompson of Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Linda Sue Thompson; and three sisters, Joyce Demblom, Margaret Ruth Grider, and Helen Anderson.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 21 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 11 a.m. until services begin at 12 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
