Dorothy Louise “Dot” Timmermeier, age 91, of West Alton, Missouripassed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, 6:12 p.m. at OSF St. Anthony’s Health Center in Alton.She was born on September 9, 1926 in Alton and was the daughter of the late John and Clara (nee: Brunstein) Schenk.She married Leslie “Bud” Timmermeier.  He preceded her in death in 2010.
Prior to retirement, she was employed many years as a registered nurse.Survivors include her granddaughter; Jessica (Clark) Bates and their children,Her greatgrandchildren; Tony, Tayla, Bethany, Alex and Levi all of Alton.Her son; Kirk Timmermeier of West Alton, Missouri,Her sister; Charlotte Meyers of Portage Des Sioux, Missouri,And many nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sons; Keith Timmermeier, Steven Timmermeier, and Michael Timmermeier,and by her sister Rita Thomure.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 2, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in West Alton, Missouri.Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
