Doris M. Huber, 75, passed away at 3:10 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
She was born on August 15, 1941 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Edward and Alberta (Blumenthal) Schardthorst.
She married James “Jim” B. Huber on January 21, 1961 in Baden, MO. He survives.
She worked as a banker for Boatman’s Bank, later known as the Bank of America for over 50 years. She was a member of North County Obedience Training Club (NCOTC) and Illinois boots and saddle. She volunteered at nursing homes with their dogs. Doris enjoyed traveling, cooking, knitting and dancing.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her in-laws, Hal and Barb Huber, Al and Janet McPherson, Betty Jo Hay, Jack Obst; a sister, Carol Roberts; close friends, Carol and Fred Spa, Tom and Nora Kinnare, Pat and John Carrol; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brothers-in-law, Lonzo Roberts and Harry Hay; Sisters-in-law Ruth Schaper and Rita Obst;
Services will be private.
