Doris Clark

Doris C. Clark, 92, died at 1:25 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Oak Hill Nursing Home in Waterloo, IL. Born August 11, 1924 in Belleville, she was the daughter of William and Martha (Weber) Ross. On April 22, 1945 she married Glenn A. Clark in Belleville. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2001. Mrs. Clark was a very active member of Main Street Methodist Church where she served as financial secretary. She was also a member of the Day Spring Bible Study, the LIFT Group, and the Friends and Neighbors Organization. She was a former member and judge of the Drum and Bugle Corps. Surviving are her sister-in-law Diana Ross of Belleville, two nephews, Steve Ross (Carrie) of Columbia, IL, and Gary Ross (Kimber) of Massachusetts, a niece, Shari Barrows (Vincent) of Texas, a great nephew, Joseph Ross, and six great nieces, Jessica Ross, Christina Ross, Madilyn Ross, Rebekah Barrows and Dee Dee Ross. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Ross. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon with Reverend Tim Pate officiating.
