Doris A. Manns, 75, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Integrity of Godfrey. Born June 28, 1943 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Linvel and Joyce (Haynes) Fox. She married William “Bill” Manns Sr. on February 14, 1962 in Hartford. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2018. She loved baking, taking care of her kids and more than anything being a Maw Maw. Surviving are two daughters, Misti Manns of Alton and Joy Fullagar of Alton, 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a brother, Randy Fox (Georgia) of Alton. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Shane Manns and William “Bill” Manns Jr. and a grandson, Travis Pursley. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend Dale Covington will officiate.
