He was born on August 23, 1955 in Wood River Il. to Vernon G. and Golda Eileen (Steward) Weber Sr. His mother survives of Alton.
He married Kathy A. (Sparks) on September 17, 1977 in Worden, Il. She survives.
Donald served his country in the U.S. Army. He donated his time to the Salvation Army helping out with the Christmas and Thanksgiving programs, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, and friends,
He is survived by his wife; Katy, his mother; Golda Weber, two daughters; Dawn and her spouse Scott Roberts, of Plainview, Il. Peggy and her spouse Wesley Besore, of Crystal City, MO. and one son Jesse and his spouse Mandy Behymer, of Bowling Green, MO. Seven grandchildren, Wayne, Donielle, Samantha, Kevin, Peyton, Katleen and Logan; seven siblings and spouses; Vernon Weber Jr., of Nokomis, Il. Frank and Beth Weber of Fosterburg, Il. Gary Weber of Bowling Green, MO. Sandy & Robert Northway, Alton, Il. Penny Weber of Alton, Il. Randy & Barb Weber of Godfrey, Il. Kimberly Weber, of AZ. seven grandchildren, Wayne Donielle, Samantha, Kevin, Peyton, Kathleen, and Logan, several Nieces and Nephews.
Proceeded in death by his father, one brother, Kevin Leroy Weber Sr., and five nieces and nephews, Michael, Jamie, Golda, Samantha and Andy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, with Capt. Randy Tooley officiating. The VFW Post 1308 Ritual Team will accord Military Rites.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton, IL.
