Dolores "Dee" Jones

Dolores "Dee" Jones, 68, passed away at 3 pm Saturday November 28, 2009 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. With her family by her side.

She was born on January 21, 1941 in Alton, IL. to Henry and Mary (Stoeckel) Schmuck.

Dee married Ronald G Jones, on June 14, 1962 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton, Il. He survives.

Dee was employed as a Merchandiser for Kraft Foods, and as a sales associate for Josephines in Godfrey, Il. She was an avid sportswoman, she enjoyed tennis, biking, hiking, and skiing, she especially enjoyed skiing at Breckenridge, CO. She was a member of chapter IL order of PEO, enjoyed bible study, and loved being with her family.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter; Tracy Jones of Manhattan Beach, CA, two sons and their spouses; Scott and Kimberly Jones of Grain Valley, MO. and Chris and Molly Jones, of Denver, CO. two grandchildren; Nicholas and Ryan Jones, one brother; Donald and his spouse Martita Schmuck, of Houston, TX. Two Sisters and their spouses; Janet and Jerry Farmer of Elmhurst, Il. and Lorraine and Michael Yavorski of Downer's Grove, Il. and sister-in-law; Sandra Maino of Scottsdale, AZ.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Wednesday December 2, 2009 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, Il. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 am, Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton, Il. with Rev. Father Shawn Monahan, OMV as celebrant.

Per her wishes cremation rites will follow.
