Dennis Raymond Knight Sr., 53, died at 6:26 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Born March 18, 1957 in Bakersfield, CA, he was the son of Raymond and Geneva (Miller) Knight.
He married Sherry Lamparter in 1979 in Godfrey. She survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Theresa Drew and her husband Tony of Godfrey, Denise Nolan and her husband Chris of Bethalto and Geneva Mitchell and her husband Wesley of Breese, one son, Dennis Knight Jr. and his wife Annie of Alton and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
