Dennis L. Pollmann, age 73 of Marine, IL, died Sunday, February 18, 2024, at his home, in Marine, IL.
He was born on Saturday, June 10, 1950, in Highland, IL, the son of Lawrence and Esther (nee Iberg) Pollmann.
Mr. Pollmann was born in Highland, IL, he graduated from Highland High School in 1968. From 1870 - 1973, he serviced with the US Air Force earning the rank of Sgt. He attended Belleville Area College and received a degree in Applied Science. For several years he worked at Rikli's Swiss Kitchen bakery; then 8 years at McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, MO. Many years were spent working for General Telephone Company (GTE) in Highland, retiring in the mid-1980's. His family built a home in rural Marine; Dennis moved into Marine in the summer of 2022. As a youth he earned his Private Pilot's license to fly light aircraft. His avocation was always airplanes-design, and power plants everything.

Sister - Carolyn Marie Cook - Died 4/22/2022
Sister-In-Law - Linda Feyen.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Fr. Pat G. Jakel, Pastor, St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL, officiating.
Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
