Dennis Lee Weeks, 65, died at 8:50 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his brother’s home in Godfrey. Born December 25, 1947 in Delano, CA, he was the son of James and Fay Dell (Lindsey) Weeks Jr. Mr. Weeks served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a systems analyst for forty years.
Surviving is a daughter, Ilafaye Elizabeth “Liz” Weeks of Roxana, two sons, Spencer Giles (Theresa) of East Alton, and Derek Weeks (Shannon) of Collinsville, six grandchildren, Morgan Weeks, Chase Weeks, Samantha Beck (Jeremiah), Darien Weeks, Derek Weeks, and Drew Weeks, one great grandchild, Noah Beck, a brother, Jimmy Weeks (Phyllis) of Godfrey and a sister, Rena Howland of Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Private burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
